Per left school in Gothenburg, Sweden, for Chamonix and a first full ski season at the age of 18. That’s 32 years ago and he never went back. Per moved to La Grave, also in the French Alps, in the early nineties and has been living there ever since. Per has been guiding skiing and climbing all over the world since 25 years.
”The ocean like the mountains has a lot of energy and power. I love skiing with a sea view. I have been fortunate to travel to ski some good sea view spots over the years, like Norway, Greenland, Iceland, Svalbard, Antartica, Southern Argentina, Japan, Corsica, the Abruzzos, Kamchatka and Mercantour in the southern Alps…This will be my 4th trip with Ice Axe to Antartica and I am humble and excited to go back way down south.”
