Sarah Halas grew up skiing in Vermont, where she fell in love with skiing untouched snow on secret trails off the back side of her home mountain. She has gone on to ski 6 continents, forever in search of places less visited and untracked snow. She has guided around the world, including in Svalbard, Alaska, and across the western US. This is her third Antarctic Peninsula Adventure Cruise. During the warmer months Sarah is an independent airplane flight instructor specializing in mountain flying. She lives in Tahoe City, California where she loves to ride her cruiser bike to the dock and jump in the lake.
