The team started their first day on the ice today! They flew from Longyearbyen to Ice Station Barneo, about 25 miles the North Pole. They were able to begin skiing right away, even though it was 11pm, since the arctic gets so much sunlight this time of year. Listen to the latest audio dispatch below!
