Doug isn’t talking the summer off from his polar pursuits. He leaves July 8 for Greenland to film Animal Planet’s show, Ice Cold Gold. The filming will take Doug and his team into remote areas of Greenland where few have explored. At 836,000 square miles, Greenland is the world’s largest island. ICE COLD GOLD deploys a 29-member crew, the first and largest television crew to date to ever produce a series in Greenland.
