Overview
The Altai Mountains of Kazakhstan offer one of the world’s last truly wild ski frontiers—an expansive landscape of snow-covered peaks, ancient cedar forests, and untouched river valleys deep in the heart of Central Asia. Far from the crowds and well beyond the familiar, this is a place defined by silence, scale, and the thrill of discovery.
Based from a remote and remarkably comfortable yurt camp, this expedition combines deep powder ski touring with the warmth of refined wilderness hospitality. Days are spent exploring private terrain of perfectly spaced glades and alpine bowls, with snowmobile support available to maximize time in the mountains. Evenings bring fireside meals and traditional banya sessions.
Designed for experienced backcountry skiers and splitboarders, this journey is as much about immersion as it is about skiing. From the vibrant energy of Almaty to the raw beauty of the Altai, every element is curated to deliver a seamless, high-touch expedition into one of the most extraordinary winter landscapes on earth.
