Kai Girard is an IFMGA Mountain Guide, with over 18 years of experience leading expeditions across the world. He lives with his wife in Jackson, Wyoming where he works as a backcountry ski guide in the Tetons. After some early mentors introduced him to the outdoors, he has reveled in the experiences of sharing wild places with good people. He recently had the best croissant of his life while working in the Dolomites, and the Home of the Blizzard is his favorite book about Antarctic exploration.
