Ode Silvonen was born in Lahti, Finland in 1976 and started skiing at the age of 4. Snowboards, Sky Diving, and climbing gear have been part of a daily pursuit. Ode has been a professional guide for 10 years. He currently lives in Chamonix and guides regularly in Chamonix, Antarctica, Norway, Svalbard, Nepal, Argentina, Kashmir India and Kamchatka, Siberia. He has been a staple on the Ice Axe Team for over 5 years.
