The Ship

With one of the highest Polar code 6 and Ice class 1A, Ocean Albatros is the ideal vessel for small-ship cruising due to her sturdy construction and X-Bow®-Infinity class, which provides high stability in rough weather and allows for the smoothest movements on high waves, and a Solas 2012 classification which facilitates a safe return to port. The vessel is part of a brand new generation of low-energy vessels, with 4 diesel engines and 2 electro engines, all controlled electronically to optimize speed and fuel consumption.

It has a total of 94 comfortable staterooms, all with a view of the ocean (90% with their own balcony). It has several restaurants, a wellness area, a nordic bar, an open deck dining facility, a modern lecture lounge, and other amenities. The vessel is environmentally friendly, following the Green Initiative Program, ensuring both absolute comfort and sustainability for our guests.

Cabin Options & Deck Plan

: The French Balcony cabin is a standard stateroom with a French balcony/floor-to-ceiling windows, a double bed plus a pull out sofa, and a bathroom. All French Balcony Suites are located on Deck 7. 151 square feet. Please only book if you are sharing a room with someone you wish to share a double bed with, or agree to potentially sleep on a sofa bed.
: Main Deck Balcony stateroom, located on deck 4. These are conveniently located staterooms close to the Mudroom which facilitates access to the Zodiacs during embarkation and disembarkation to begin your adventures on the Zodiacs. Featuring a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom, and a private balcony. 220 square feet.
: The Balcony Staterooms are located on deck 6. They have a private balcony, a double bed or two single beds, and a bathroom. 237 square feet.
: The Balcony Suites are located on deck 4 and deck 6. The suites feature a double bed or two single beds, a seating area, bathroom, and a large private balcony. 315 square feet.
: The Junior Suites have a great view from their location high up on deck 7. The suites feature a double bed or two single beds, a sofa bed, a seating area, a spacious bathroom and a private balcony. The suite can accommodate up to 3 people, please inquire about triple occupancy pricing. 420 square feet.
: The Premium Balcony Suite is located on deck 4. This 2-bedroom suite features a double bed or two single beds and a sofa bed, seating area, a balcony, and an ensuite bathroom. 475 square feet.
: The Double-Bedroom, Premium Family Suite is located on Deck 7, accommodating up to 4 people on two double beds and a sofa bed with two ensuite bathrooms. A central living room/sitting area separates the two bedrooms. 570 square feet.
